RATIFICATION OF AMENDMENT #5 WITH SCHENKEL SHULTZ ARCHITECTURE FOR THE SOUTH COUNTY TECHNICAL CENTER - SOUTH COUNTY TECHNICAL HIGH SCHOOL "CCC" PROJECT
Description
The scope of work for the amendment shall include the following changes to Contingent Additional Services sections:
3.2.1.A - On-site surface water management and drainage design revisions based on criteria required by 4th Quarter Properties Pattern Book, specifically the 100 year storm event as the basis for design for the project. This also includes the requirement by SWFWMD to use Sarasota County's Flood Plain Map as the basis of design as Flood Plain compensation for the proposed site. Items identified here are required to receive the SWFWMD ERP for this project. This is an increase of $14,400.00.
3.2.2.A - Off-site surface water management and drainage design revisions based on criteria required by 4th Quarter Properties Pattern Book, specifically the 100 year storm event as the basis for design for the project. This also includes the requirement by SWFWMD to use Sarasota County's Flood Plain Map as the basis of design as Flood Plain compensation for the proposed site. Items identified here are required to receive the SWFWMD ERP for this project. This is an increase of $18,000.00.
The cost of this amendment shall not exceed $32,400.00. Funds for this amendment are available thorugh the project budget account.
Recommendation
That Amendment #5 to the Agreement dated 10/4/2005 with Schenkel Shultz Architecture for the South County Technical Center -South County Technical High School "CCC" project be ratified as presented.
